This website begins at Day One—not because I’m starting from nothing, but because I’m choosing to document the process intentionally.
Before this project officially began, a few meaningful steps were already taken.
I completed my first class, Creative Presentation, with a 99.45. Beyond the grade, the class reinforced something important: learning how to communicate ideas matters just as much as learning the ideas themselves—especially when you’re rebuilding or redirecting your career.
Outside of class, I’ve started exploring Unreal Engine and getting familiar with Autodesk tools. No expectations of mastery—just curiosity, experimentation, and the willingness to be a beginner again.
Another deliberate change I’ve made is discontinuing social media use. Instead of scrolling, I’m choosing to replace that time with learning—whether that’s studying, experimenting with new tools, or simply thinking more deeply. It’s a quiet shift, but a meaningful one.
I want 2026 to be about growth. Not comparison. Not noise. Just steady progress and intentional learning.
This blog isn’t about perfection or instant success. It’s about momentum. Small wins. Honest effort. Showing up even when the path forward isn’t fully defined yet.
I’m changing careers in my forties, and this space exists as proof—to myself and to anyone else who needs it—that life doesn’t stop offering new directions with age.
This is Day One. And it matters.
